The Presidents Award

The idea of an award for those who have contributed significantly to the Regimental Association had been considered a number of times over the years, but never got off the ground. Early in 2007 the Regimental Association Committee decided it was time to stop talking and take some action! The outcome is The President’s Award in recognition of “long and distinguished service given to the Devonshire and Dorset Regimental Association.” The award takes the form of a signed certificate and a unique lapel badge. The 2010 Awards were given to:

 Lt Col Jerry Blake, Mr Ken Chivers, Bugle Major Tony Cox, Mr Vic Farminer, Mrs Mona Harrison and Mr Dennis Northey.  Lt Col Blake and Mrs Harrison were unable to attend
