Course Report
In June we organised another successful BKSA kite surfing course for the home regiment based on Thorney Island.
Team Kite Surf
The course was run during the week of the 19 – 23 June and included the CO and RSM of the regiment.
We had light winds most of the week but enough to cover basic kite flying skills and drills and covered body dragging using the kite for steerage.
The course was run partly on Thorney Island and Hayling Island which has a large sandbar which is exposed at low tide which gives shallow water, great for teaching.
