Secretary

a.    Secretariat support to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Army FA, plus the General and Executive Committees.

b.    Supervision and line-management of the Football Office personnel.

c.    Overall control of all kit, prizes, coaching equipment, trophies etc; the purchase of such; the issue and withdrawal of kit to and from representative teams at the start and end of each season; and the provision of spare strips as required.

d.    Liaison with the Secretary of Combined Services (CS) football including assistance with the Army contribution to CS teams.

e.    Organisation of the Army Men’s major and minor unit cup competitions and the Army Men’s 6-a-side competition.

f.      Maintaining the Army Football Association financial account and ensuring this is audited annually in line with current Army Policy.

g.    Produce at each Executive meeting a financial up-date.

h.    In parallel, act as Treasurer of the CSFA.

i.      Liaison and committee work with the national governing body (The English FA).

j.      Organisation and administration of al Army Inter-Services marches.

k.    Annual updating of the Army FA handbook.

l.      Updating and maintenance of the County Development Plan.

m.  Assistance to representative teams as required, in the organisation of team tours.

 
Assistant Secretary

a.   Assistance to the Secretary in the conduct of his duties, principally the implementation of Army Football policy and plans. Deputising for the Secretary as required.

b.   Administration of Army FA referees matters worldwide, in line with policy issued by the Army FA Referees’ Committee, including registration, assessment and development.

c.   Appointment of match officials to FA, CSFA, Army FA and Corps matches.

d.   Support to the fielding of Army representative teams, including:

(1)   Liaison with opponents prior to match day (including arranging fixtures) and assistance in hosting of opponents on match day.

(2)   Booking of all home training and ground facilities and the production of match day programmes.

(3)   Booking of all refreshments and meals at the Aldershot Military Stadium.

(4)   Maintaining records of all players who may become eligible for caps and/or colours and the purchasing of trophies.

e.  System administration of the County Administration System (CAS).

 

Football Development Officer (FDO)

a.  Administer, organise and, when required, direct all coaching and medical courses.

b.  Produce and maintain a database of all qualified coaches.

c.  Conduct seminars to update coaches and educate units on coaching and development matters. (Develop and maintain contacts with coaches)

d.  Visit units both home and overseas when required to organise coaching courses.

e.  Recommend to the Executive Committee nominations for coaches for the Army’s Representative Teams, in conjunction with respective team Chairmen.

f.    Maintenance of the coaching library.

g.  Liaison with the Football Association and other County Associations on development issues.

h.  Assist representative team coaches as and when required.

i.    Register and track potential Army players identified by Recruiting Group or Phase 1 and 2 training establishments, in conjunction with respective team Chairmen.

j.    Identify as and when required potential Army players and nominate for trials at respective levels.

 
FDO Administrator

a.  General administration support to the FDO.

b.  Administer the Charter Standard Club Scheme.

c.  Support for the promotion of Army FA Coach Education, Child Protection and Administration courses.

 
Admin Officer

a.  Operation of administrative aspects of the disciplinary process, including: entry of player discipline reports onto the computer; issue of letters in respect of discipline report to units and players; register receipt of all fine payments; hastening of non-payment of fines; and coordinating fine payments with disciplinary records.

b.  Operation of the player registration process, including: registration of players and their units on the computer; and registration of players requesting permission to play for civilian clubs (including the issue of appropriate letters of authority).

c.  General administrative support to the Football Office, including general filing, typing, photocopying and preparation for meetings.

 
Admin Assistant

a.  Issue call-up letters to executive committee and admin staff. Produce and distribute invitations to Inter Services, Army Challenge Cup Final and Presidents dinner.

b.  Annual updating of the Army FA Handbook; Committees & Corps Fixtures Directoty, production of DINS.

c.  Assist the Secretary in the organisation of the Army Men’s major and minor unit cup competitions and the Army Men’s 6-a-side competition and liaise with units and the FA regard to overseas tours including insurance cover.

d.  Maintenance of the CSFA accounts.

e.  The purchase of kit, caps, colours and any such items as required by the Army Football Association and ensuring all trophies are engraved and maintained.

f.  Liaison with all sponsors including organisation of the President’s Dinner.

g.   Assist the Secretary in the organisation and administration of all Army Inter-Services matches.
