The up to date AMA website is now at www.ArmyNet.mod.uk/ama and can be reached by logging into your ArmyNet account.

If you do not have one it is very easy to sign up to and will bring you many benefits, such as being the only way to access secure email, as well as allowing us to have a secure AMA site where full admin instructions, for example, can be uploaded.

Simply go to the ArmyNet log in page www.armynet.mod.uk and click to Register. You will need your National Insurance number and a few other personal details such as your blood group.  All serving members of the forces are entitled to an ArmyNet account, which can also provide up to three guest accounts for friends or family.

In the near future, the AMA will also have a public access site where you are now reading, with no log in required, and reachable via www.ArmyMountaineer.org.uk.  This will have less content due to security restrictions, but will allow the AMA to have a public face and also provide a portal to log in to the main site.  If you have any queries or suggestions, please send them to me at AMAWebmaster@armymail.mod.uk
